Products are how the big
money is made, but it's services that get's you in the door many
times, and retains your clients year after year.
Going forward
successful benefit marketers will need to have access to services to compete in many situations. Now is the time to include
these essential offers in the menu you present to employer clients.
Why not separate
yourself from your competition? Why hammer just products when you can
gain interest by also talking about services that offer immediate
business benefit solutions, and often cost-savings, to a business. Part of your
compensation for providing these services can include the opportunity to offer additional
solutions (voluntary benefits) to the financial protection needs of the employees.
Think back to the
tremendous impact Section 125 plans had on voluntary benefit plans
in the mid-90's. There was an explosion of employers adopting
Section 125 plans (combined with voluntary products) because they were
of great benefit to all parties. You can reignite that momentum
again with the right services that employers are in need of and
searching for.

the purpose of promoting thrift, providing credit at

to its members. In the United States, there are over

Labor unions
in the United States are legally recognized as
representatives of workers in many industries. The most
prominent unions are among public sector employees such

United States today centers on collective bargaining

membership and on representing their members if

Total Compensation
Statement
Industry
research reveals that the majority
of employees in most businesses have
no idea of the high cost of the
benefits being provided. In
addition, there is a truth that
benefits aren’t appreciated unless
they are understood and they aren’t
understood unless they are
communicated. With
Total Compensation Statement,
brokers are able to do this at no
direct cost to the company by
creating a menu of voluntary
products to enhance current benefits
and paid for through payroll
deduction. Employees appreciate the
option to secure additional (life,
disability, supplemental health,
etc.) coverage that improves their
financial security.

Payroll Bank Card
A debit card
(also known as a
bank card or
check card) is a
plastic card
that provides an
alternative
payment method
to cash when
making
purchases.
Functionally, it
can be called an
electronic
check, as the
funds are
withdrawn
directly from
either the bank
account, or from
the remaining
balance on the
card. The use of
debit cards has
become
widespread in
many countries
and has
overtaken the
check, and in
some instances
cash
transactions by
volume. Like
credit cards,
debit cards are
used widely for
telephone and
Internet
purchases, and
unlike credit
cards the funds
are transferred
from the
bearer's bank
account instead
of having the
bearer to pay
back on a later
date. Debit
cards can also
allow for
instant
withdrawal of
cash, acting as
the ATM card for
withdrawing cash
and as a cheque
guarantee card.
One major
attaction of the
"Payroll Bank
Card" is that it
is "Payroll
Loaded."

Dear
Workplace Benefits Association ( Member / Prospective
Member),
In 2009 we
invested resources into improving the technology that
delivered what members need to advance their knowledge and
skills. If you have been to the member’s page website that
we introduced at the beginning of the year, we think you
will appreciate our new arrangement of information.
That
however, was just phase one of our Association reset.
The
underlying basis upon which the ultimate success of our
organization rests is the ability to help our members earn
more money by helping them deliver more value.
Phase two
involves the technique of offering markets for the
products, services, knowledge and skills of members because
the combination of products, services, knowledge and skills
is not of much use unless a Member has someone to use them
with.
That is why
we are implementing our “workplace affinity” series.
Workplace
Affinity is a turnkey solution for succeeding in specific
market niches.
Have you
noticed that successful people and organizations often tend
to work in specific niches?
You can’t
be an authority in everything but you can become highly
skilled in distinctive areas of your choosing rising to the
level of “expert.”
We would
like to invite you to review the outline above and have you
participate as a Member of the Workplace Benefits
Association with full access to the Workplace Affinity
Series of systems and solutions.
Sincerely,
Walt Podgurski
CEO
